Charlene Rapa

It’s not unusual for children to ‘play’ hairdressers. Chopping off the hair on their toys, or applying makeup with the hope of improving or altering the looks of their favourite plaything. It’s true that Charlene was one of those children.

Though, this love affair with transforming the looks of her favourite toys continued into her teenage years when it became obvious that she had a true gift for restyling personalities by transforming their look.

Michaela White

Michaela came to hairdressing later in life. After a successful career as a vet nurse in New Zealand, on relocation to Australia Michaela was looking to challenge herself with something new.

A friend offered her an apprenticeship in 2005 and she’s never looked back. Michaela loves creating fresh new colours for her clients and enjoys the challenge of helping clients reinvent their look.

Outside of work you’ll find Michaela hanging out with her family (she’s a proud mum to three gorgeous girls) and her four legged kids, Harper, Cruz and Ralph

Courtney Miles

The youngest of the apaR family, Courtney is currently in her first year of her hairdressing apprenticeship.

She has wanted to join the industry her entire life, so she is soaking up all the learning she can both inside and outside of the studio.

Danielle Jane Ardrey

Danielle can’t imagine ever doing anything other than hairdressing. She obtained her apprenticeship straight out of school and instantly fell in love with the industry.

Danielle gets immense satisfaction watching her clients leave the studio with more confidence than when they walked in, she sees her job as ‘more than’ just doing people’s hair.

When she’s not changing lives, she’s listening to country music and describes herself as happy, loyal and easy going.
